Myta Sayo is an art dealer with extensive experience placing works with collectors across North America, Europe, and Asia. As studio manager at Kal Mansur Studio, she has overseen the production of large-scale artworks for corporate and hospitality projects worldwide. From 2015 to 2021, she founded and operated reference: contemporary, an online gallery that exhibited in nine New York and three Miami art fairs. From 2021 to 2024, she ran Myta Sayo Gallery in Toronto’s vibrant Dundas West neighbourhood, presenting exhibitions by mid-career and emerging artists. Her gallery continues to participate in Art Toronto and the Affordable Art Fair in New York.
Myta has built lasting partnerships with art consultants, architects, and designers. Drawing from her academic background, she founded Myta Sayo Research Projects (MSRP), an art advisory focused on projects that bridge research and contemporary art. She brings a rigorous approach to placing artworks with collectors, securing commissions for her artists, and curating exhibitions and art fairs. Outside of her professional practice, Myta is an amateur CNC machinist and a keen novice golfer.
