Kal Mansur, Non-Specific Object Fourteen? 24" x 24" x 3"

US$2,700.00
Sold

Medium: Solid acrylic slab, incised drawing, pigmented epoxy

Size: 24 x 24 x 3 inches

Year: 2018

This series combines both human and machine gesture. A drawing is incised into a clear acrylic slab, then filled with layers of pigmented epoxy. Mansur excavates into the slab using a carving machine, resulting in steppes that are visible upon closer inspection. Shadows of invisible lines are cast on the wall, as the artwork's incline creates optical effects. The exploration of truth and transparency resides within this artwork.

Free shipping in Canada and the continental United States. $100 within Europe and Asia.

This artwork ships worldwide, please inquire about international shipping.
