Julia Campisi works in sculpture, installation, and collage to develop multivalent narratives. Temporary and supporting structures are recurring motifs in her work, where she recreates everyday objects -- a pile of bricks, a ladder, scaffolding -- all executed in unique materials and pink hues. By recreating these objects she reframes their importance in generating culture.
